Remodeling Magazine's Big 50 Award – 2007

In spring, 2007, Dream Design Builders earned one of our industry’s greatest honors – the Remodeling Magazine Big 50 award. It’s a one-time tribute awarded to the most stable, most innovative, most outstanding remodeling firms in the United States. Every one of these companies have distinguished themselves by the quality of their people, their work, and their philosophies, consistently far-outpacing their competition.

This award is only earned by those companies who repeatedly prove they deliver the highest levels of professionalism and the best practices possible in their marketing, business operations, design, contract fulfillment, and general impact on both the community and the industry at-large. Remodeling Magazine’s guidelines call for “firms with top-notch business acumen, outstanding customer service, a financially strong foundation, and exciting systems.”

2006 Contractor of the Year (CotY) Regional Awards

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) awarded Dream Design Builders (formerly Dream Maker Builders) two prestigious Regional Contractor of the Year (CotY) awards in its annual awards competition for 2006. With more than 7,000 member companies nationwide, NARI is the only trade association in the country dedicated solely to the remodeling industry.

Contractors from seven regions across the country compete for the CotY Awards. This year, an impartial panel of judges made up of experts within the industry and associated fields selected winners based on “before” and “after” photography and project descriptions. Judges evaluated each project on a number of factors, including:

• How well the client’s expressed needs were met
• Enhancements to the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the existing structure
• Evidence of superior craftsmanship
• Innovative uses of materials and/or construction methods
• The contractor’s ability to overcome difficult obstacles
