San Diego Room Addition - Whole House Renovation - Poway

The homeowner’s whole house renovation includes a large scale addition to a home that was damaged by the wildfires of 2007. The homeowner wanted the new design to be an expansive ranch-style home befitting the setting.
The original home was quite small, set on acreage in the countryside. The fire destroyed structures on the property including the garage. It caused damage to the exterior and interior of the house. In addition to replacing what was lost, Two new rooms, two bathrooms, a garage and an expansive “mud room” were created. Each of the new rooms opens up to the exterior, incorporating the outdoors into the design.
The remodeled home consists of new additions including a family room, guest bedroom, full bathroom, powder bath accessible from the exterior, mud room and laundry, and an attached two car garage. The new front door has an attached portico, adding emphasis to the entry. The design of the once modest home, resulted in a beautiful new home that is expansive and true to the typical ranch style home, and blends seamlessly with the original.
