San Diego New Kitchen and Interiors Addition
The owners wanted to update the look and increase the size of their living space to accomodate their growing family. The existing kitchen was small and secluded from the dining area and family room. They asked that we relocate their kitchen and open it up to the dining room and family room, creating a grand room a picture window view of their lovely backyard where the family can spend quality time and share daily conversation. They also wanted to create a grand master suite, with an updated and elegant custom master bath with larger closets.
Design Solutions:This project was thoughtfully designed and skillfully constructed, in line with the wants and needs of the family. The load bearing walls were reinforced with the second story addition above. Plumbing, ventilation, and sewer tie-ins were relocated. A vaulted, multi-angled ceiling was incorporated to provide an open feel to their living space. This remodel provides them with a modern, open living space for both the first and second floor additions and appears seamless both inside and out.
